DJ PROFILE

hellooo listeners, it’s DJ Lillian back with a new specialty show here on KXLU 88.9 FM Los Angeles. Being a native from Minneapolis, I wanted to create a show that is curated around the music I grew up on–more specifically, Prince himself. For one hour a week I play underrepresented, unsigned, and independent artists exploring the musical legacy Prince left on Funk, Electro, Disco, Hip Hop, RnB and everything in between. While it’s not a show dedicated to Prince per say, his legacy has left a musical imprint on myself as a DJ and Musician, and I want to share that with anyone who wants to listen. I am an alumni of Loyola Marymount’s Department of Music, and previous KXLU Program Director and General Manager. I love being here in the air waves with you all : )
