Hosted by Michelle K. since March 2001, Melody Fair is a radio show airing from Los Angeles on KXLU, 88.9 FM.
The show airs for 2 hours starting Mondays at 8pm PST to 10pm PST every week and features indie music from around the world that’s not world music. Genres played include: Art Rock, Bollywood, Chicha, Folk, Garage, Glam, J-Pop, K-Pop, Krautrock, Prog, Pow Wow Step, Psychedelic, Shoegaze, Tropicália, Yé-yé, and so much more.
You’ll hear from French, Brazilian, Scandinavian, German, Italian, UK artists and beyond! I don’t forget the grand ole USA, but the emphasis is on the international.
