I joined Alma del Barrio in March 2000 while in my second year of law school at Loyola Law School. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1998 and Loyola Law School in 2002. I have been practicing law ever since. I grew up in and still live in Whittier. My parents are Cuban so I grew up with the music. At age 16 I really became hooked and I have not looked back since. Doing the radio show gives me an excuse to stay on top of the music and gives me a break from my work as an attorney. I never imagined I’d ever be hosting a radio show. The idea to join Alma Del Barrio came as a way to break through into the entertainment law field. While that did not happen, joining Alma was the best decision I have made. While our music is my passion, I spend my free time reading, watching sports, especially Dodgers baseball, and watching TV and movies. My second greatest passion besides salsa music is traveling. I have visited over 50 different countries so far!
Tune into my segment of Alma del Barrio every other Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
