My name is Alex and I’m a hardcore movie lover, TV binger, avid theatre goer, crazy cat lady, and baker of delicious desserts. I’m the host of Behind the Scenes, a show that aims to expose listeners to the ins and outs of indie film and theatre through interviews with industry professionals as well as avant-garde musicals and film scores. In 2015, I said goodbye to the brutal cold of Denver, Colorado, packed up my Jeep and headed west with my two cats. Since moving to Los Angeles, I have obtained an MFA in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University, assistant directed several feature length and short films, and have continued to pursue my dream of becoming a documentary filmmaker.
