Biography
Alien Air Music has run on KXLU since 1984 featuring international electronic-based music that’s melodic but not Muzak.
Host Pat M showcases unknown internet artists, known as ‘netsicians’, alongside more established names to reflect KXLU’s mission: provide equal footing to talented startups.
Time consuming online research provides a weekly explosion of new discoveries broadcast on Alien Air Music. The web has opened up a watershed of synthetic Mozarts waiting to be heard.
To recharge from being in front of the computer screen many hours each week, Pat M regularly ventures on nature trails to balance the cerebral with the physical. Ironically, time spent away from mankind’s constructs provides more ideas for programming music mixes and sets.
It’s the best of both worlds, with KXLU providing an incredible outlet for this new era in creativity.
